Dr. Tushar Aeron is a Robotic GI surgeon who has extensive experience of more than 15 years in the field of GI Surgery, GI Oncology, and minimal access surgery. His initial surgical training was at Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi followed by a senior residency in GI surgery from GB Pant Hospital. He did his super specialty training M.Ch (Surgical Gastroenterology) from KGMU, Lucknow. After gaining more experience in his field from Tata Memorial Hospital and KEM Hospital Mumbai, he was subsequently Head of the Department of Gastrointestinal & Laparoscopic Surgery at Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, Delhi for nearly 4 years.
He specializes in all GI Oncology surgeries, Robotic as well as minimally invasive: thoracoscopic esophageal surgeries, pancreato-biliary surgeries, multi-visceral resections for carcinoma gall bladder, laparoscopic colorectal surgeries, and intra-abdominal sarcomas. His repertoire of surgeries for various benign disorders (Robotic and minimally invasive) includes those for gallstone disease, chronic pancreatitis, choledochal cysts, ventral hernias, corrosive esophageal strictures, sleeve gastrectomy, and other bariatric surgeries.
