Dr. Rudra Prasad Acharya is a well-known Surgical Oncologist with a rich experience of over 21 years in the field of Surgical Oncology. He specializes in providing treatments for different types of cancers. Dr. Rudra has an impressive track record and has worked at top hospitals in India such as Artemis Cancer Centre, Gurgaon, BLK Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, PSRI Hospital, New Delhi, and Paras Cancer Centre, Gurgaon.
Dr. Rudra Prasad Acharya did his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from MKCG Medical College, Berhampur. In addition to this he also did Fellowship in Surgical Oncology from GCRI, Ahmedabad, Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery from St. Georges Hospital, Sydney, and Fellowship in HPB Surgery from Komagome Hospital, Tokyo.
His areas of expertise include GI/Thoracic Oncosurgery. He is also competent in treating Breast, Head & Neck, and Gynaecological Cancers. Dr. Rudra is skilled in offering HIPEC/PIPAC to patients suffering from conditions such as Ovarian & Colorectal Cancers. He is highly innovative in treating GI/GU Cancers with Minimal Access Surgical Oncology including Robotic Surgery. He is a pioneer in Limb Salvage Surgery for Bone & Soft Tissue Sarcoma.
Dr. Rudra is an Hon. Secy. of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO) and a member of the International Hepato-Pancreato Biliary Association (IHPBA). He is a national faculty for many conferences, workshops. He has presented many papers in national and international conferences. He has published many articles in journals and magazines and in print media. He has been received many awards for his professional excellence.
