Dr. Monish Nakra pursued his graduation and post-graduation in Anaesthesiology from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. He then went for his super specialisation in the field of Critical Care Medicine and obtained an additional qualification of IDCCM from Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM). His special interest areas are ARDS and it's Ventilatory Management, Sepsis, Haemodynamic Monitoring, Antibiotic Stewardship, and prevention of Hospital Acquired Infections. Dr. Monish Nakra served in premier Armed Forces' Hospitals for 28 years & has been instrumental in starting off the DNB program in Critical Care Medicine in Army Hospital (R&R). As a post-graduate teacher and examiner, Dr Monish Nakra has been a mentor to several post-graduate students. He is also an instructor of BLS, ACLS, ATLS and FCCS. He is a renowned speaker and has presented at various National Critical Care Conferences. He has a number of research publications in National and International Journals and has contributed to chapters in books. He has got this hospital accredited for DrNB in Critical Care Medicine from the National Board.
