Dr. Mohammad Mubeen has endeavored to obtain training in Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery and spent about 20 years working in various aspects of Cardiac Surgery in some of the best institutions in India. This has enabled him to acquire special skills and understand principles of cardiac surgery. Concomitantly he is devoted to creating awareness among the public about heart ailments, their prevention and cure.
Presently working as Director of Cardio-thoracic Surgery Department at Venkateshwar Hospital, Dwarka, he did his medical graduation (MBBS) from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow (1992), followed by Masters in Surgery (MS) from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur (1996), and then post-doctoral (MCh) in Cardiothoracic Surgery from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow (2003).
Dr. Mubeen has performed the whole spectrum of cardio-vascular and thoracic surgeries including off-pump CABG’s, Valve Replacements, Complex Combined procedures, surgeries for Congenital Heart Defects, High-Risk REDO cases , Peripheral Vascular & thoracic cases including Aortic Surgeries for Aneurysms and Aortic Dissections. Currently, his focus is to perform Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery more often with An-aortic total arterial off-pump CABG involving bilateral internal mammary arteries and radial artery in varied sequential manner so as to significantly reduce the risk of post-operative stroke rate. He is also inclined towards surgery for end stage heart disease including Dor procedure, LVAD and Cardio-Pulmonary Transplantation. He is also trained for Stem Cell Therapy & LASER therapy for the failing heart.
